The purpose of a CV or a completed job application form is to clearly and succinctly communicate an accurate snapshot about you including your knowledge, skills and personal attributes. My experience in working with clients and in my experience as part a formal recruitment process is that many people err on the side of side of being generic rather than specific and generally undersell themselves. The tasks we do well on a regular basis and the process we engage with to achieve a successful outcome are often difficult to articulate. For many of us we sometimes lose sight of the talents we possess.
Identification of Your Unique Attributes
As a Career Coach I work with you in bringing your unique attributes and competencies to your conscious awareness. I actively listen to how you describe yourself and I support you in the identification of your skillset and how they match the requirements of the role on offer. I also listen for any limiting beliefs which tend to have a negative impact on how we express ourselves in both written and verbal communication. Together we explore your attributes and how you can best represent your abilities to a prospective employer. Remember your CV or completed application form is potentially your access to the next step in the recruitment process. Additionally, the investment of your time in engaging in this process is, for many, a confidence building exercise and a solid basis on which to commence preparation for your interview.
Job Application Form & CV Support Packages
I offer two separate packages depending on your needs and the requirements of the recruiting organisation.
