I offer support, leadership coaching and mentorship on a one to one basis to clients who are in transition in an organisation, starting in a new leadership role or have identified this as a development need. My experience is that in working with clients who have been successful in securing a promotional role, that for some a coaching session(s) can provide the support they require in clarifying and structuring their future direction in a leadership capacity.
Together as coach and client we work to gain clarity on the scope of the role and any presenting challenges. From there we agree objectives and associated tasks and chunks of work. I adopt a degree of flexibility in terms of moving to a mentorship role as required, and this is entirely in response to client need, progression and consent.
